Terms & Conditions
1. General Information
These Terms & Conditions govern all yacht charter services provided by Private Yacht Cruise Istanbul (“the Company”). By confirming a booking and/or making a payment, the client (“the Guest”) agrees to be bound by the following terms.
2. Booking & Payment
- A deposit payment (typically 30% of the total charter fee) is required to secure your reservation.
- The remaining balance must be paid before the cruise begins, either by cash, credit card, or bank transfer.
- All bookings are confirmed once written confirmation (email or message) and proof of payment have been received.
- Prices are quoted in Euros (€) or USD ($) unless otherwise stated.
3. Charter Duration & Timing
- Charter durations are based on the agreed itinerary and schedule confirmed at the time of booking.
- Delays caused by the Guest (late arrival, extended stops, etc.) may result in reduced cruising time without refund.
- Extensions of charter time are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
4. Cancellation Policy
- More than 7 days before the cruise: Full refund of deposit.
- 3–7 days before the cruise: 50% of total charter fee will be charged.
- Less than 72 hours before the cruise or no-show: 100% of total charter fee will be charged.
- In cases of bad weather (e.g., high winds or unsafe sea conditions) as determined by the captain, the cruise may be rescheduled or fully refunded at the Company’s discretion.
5. Safety & Conduct on Board
- All guests must follow the captain’s and crew’s instructions at all times for safety reasons.
- The Company reserves the right to terminate the cruise without refund if guests act in a manner deemed unsafe, illegal, or disrespectful to the crew, vessel, or others.
- Swimming is permitted only when authorized by the captain.
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
6. Food & Beverages
- Depending on the package, the cruise may include complimentary soft drinks, snacks, or meals.
- Alcoholic beverages, catering, or private chef services can be arranged upon request and may incur additional charges.
- Bringing external food or drinks on board requires prior approval.
7. Decorations & Events
- Guests may request customized decorations, cakes, music, or event setups. These must be arranged in advance and are subject to additional fees.
- Use of confetti, open flames, or fireworks without permission is strictly prohibited.
8. Liability
- The Company shall not be held responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to personal belongings or guests during the cruise.
- Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the yacht or its equipment due to negligence or misconduct.
- The Company carries full insurance coverage for the vessel, but this does not cover personal belongings or accidents caused by guest behavior.
9. Weather Conditions
- Yacht cruises are subject to suitable weather and maritime conditions.
- If the captain determines that sailing is unsafe due to weather, the trip may be postponed or cancelled. In such cases, the guest will be offered a rescheduled date or a full refund.
10. Force Majeure
The Company is not liable for cancellations or service interruptions due to events beyond its control, such as extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or mechanical failures.
11. Photography & Promotion
- The Company may capture photos or short videos for promotional purposes.
- Guests who prefer privacy may request that no photos be taken or shared publicly.
